Hi, I'm Mackenzie a Non-Diet Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CEIC) based out of Rhode Island.

I specialize in general nutrition, intuitive eating, eating disorders, diabetes, gestational diabetes, and various chronic health conditions.

Intuitive Eating Nutrition Counseling

I help guide you towards intuitive eating in a way that works for you and considers any health conditions you might have. Clients come to me to work on their relationship to food, exercise, as well as developing healthy habits that aren’t steeped in diet culture.

Eating Disorder Nutrition Counseling for Adults

Here to help you challenge your eating disorder and work towards a full recovery. I provide talk nutrition therapy, meal planning, food exposure, and more. 

Diabetes (Type 1 & 2) Nutrition Counseling

I can help you navigate the world of blood sugar management through a non-diet lens. Patients that see me regularly usually lower their A1c by 1-2 points. Together we can come up with a plan that works for you to feel confident in your diabetes management.

Gestational Diabetes Nutrition Counseling

Don’t navigate gestational diabetes alone! I can help you come up with eating plan and schedule to best manage your blood sugars to keep you and baby healthy. 

Nutrition Counseling for Chronic Health Conditions

I can help you manage conditions like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, and more – without cutting out the foods you love, dieting or obsessing over what you eat.

Insurance Information

I am in-network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare plans. Many plans cover nutrition counseling sessions at little to no cost to you.

 

If you have health insurance through a different carrier (like Cigna or Aetna), I will provide super bills to submit to your insurance for a possible reimbursement.
